Plagiarism Policy

The International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation (IJAIDI) is committed to maintaining the originality and integrity of published research.

All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and similarity before or during the peer-review process using iThenticate or another recognized plagiarism-detection system. The journal generally requires an overall similarity rate of less than 20%, excluding the reference list and properly quoted material.

Authors must ensure that:

• The manuscript is original and has not been published previously.

• The manuscript is not submitted to another journal simultaneously.

• All quoted, paraphrased, or adapted material is properly cited according to the journal’s citation style.

• Previously published material, including the authors’ own work, is properly acknowledged.

• All references, data, and AI-assisted content are verified and disclosed where applicable.

The similarity percentage is considered an initial screening indicator. The editorial team also evaluates the source, distribution, and nature of the matched content.

Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicated content, improper citation, fabricated references, inappropriate text reuse, or significant overlap with previously published work may be returned for revision or rejected.

The journal reserves the right to request corrections, reject a manuscript, notify the authors, or take further editorial action if plagiarism or research misconduct is identified at any stage of the publication process.

If plagiarism is confirmed after publication despite the initial screening, the journal may issue a correction, expression of concern, or retraction and may notify the authors’ institutions when appropriate.
